This climb is along a fairly busy route 185, particularly at rush hour. It’s noteworthy mostly in terms of Strava popularity because it’s a main west/east connector from riding country back to Hartford. There’s a nice steep bit at the beginning and good views of Heublein tower, and then it turns into a fairly gradual run up to the summit. The eastern climb up Penwood is also very popular on Strava but it’s short and not terribly interesting so i’m blackballing it!
